Laramie, WY (5/9/19) – The Wyoming Community Foundation (WYCF) is reminding nonprofit organizations the foundation’s next grant application deadline is Saturday, June 15, 2019. Nonprofit organizations are encouraged to apply.

According to their press release, “The Wyoming Community Foundation is an organization working to support Wyoming nonprofits through grantmaking. In 2018 WYCF granted over $8,000,000 to nonprofits and, at its most recent meeting, the 30-year-old organization distributed over $3,000,000 – $15,250 to Sweetwater County charitable organizations by the Rock Springs Area Local Board of WYCF”.

The Boys and Girls Club of Sweetwater County, which recently received a general operating grant, was one of five to be recommended for funding by the Rock Springs Area Local Board. The other four were Greater Wyoming Big Brothers Big Sisters, Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County Foundation, Raising Readers in Wyoming, and Youth Alternative Home Association.
