Gary Zadra, 82, passed away Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at Mission at Castle Rock in Green River, Wyoming.
Mr. Zadra was born April 14, 1939 in Rock Springs, Wyoming; the son of John Zadra and Mary Bergant. He lived in Superior until his family moved to Leadville, Colorado in 1957
He attended schools in Superior, Wyoming and was a 1957 graduate of Leadville, Colorado.
Mr. Zadra served in the United States Army during the Berlin Crisis
He worked for Climax Molybdenum Company for 27 years and was a Data Processor at the time of his retirement in 1984. After his retirement from Climax Molybdenum, Gary worked in the construction industry in Denver, Colorado area, and later was the building superintendent for the Christiania Lodge in Vail, Colorado.
He returned to live in Superior, Wyoming in 2011
His interests included woodworking, hunting and fishing.
Survivors include two sons, Daniel Zadra and wife Michelle of Gunnison, Colorado; Dennis Zadra and wife Alicia of Cordova, Alaska; one daughter, Sally Zadra of Buford, Georgia; one brother, Dennis Zadra and wife Annie of Wyoming; and one granddaughter, Meghan Zadra of Colorado Springs, Colorado.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Mary Zadra, one brother, John Ross who died in infancy, sister Margo Johns.
Following Cremation, a Vigil Service with Rosary will be recited at 5:00 P.M. Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at Vase Funeral Chapel, 154 Elk Street, Rock Springs, Wyoming. Military Honors, Graveside Services and Inurnment will be conducted at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at Rock Springs Municipal Cemetery.
