Harry Francis Cleveland, 91, passed away with his wife at his side on Wednesday, October 6, 2021, at Mission at Castle Rock in Green River, Wyoming. He was a long-time resident of Rock Springs, Wyoming, and a former resident of Oregon.
He was born on February 4, 1930 in Seattle, Washington, the son of Harry Fillmore Cleveland and Bertie Fox.
Mr. Cleveland attended schools in Olympia, Washington.
He married the love of his life Sandy Collins February 8, 1986 in Elko, Nevada.
Mr. Cleveland served in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War.
He worked for Rock Springs Pawn and Loan until his retirement in 2002 as a Salesman.
Mr. Cleveland enjoyed spending time with family, hunting, fishing and camping.
Survivors include his wife, Sandy Cleveland of Rock Springs, Wyoming; four sons, Patrick Cleveland and wife Jeri Lynn of Fairbanks, Alaska; Michael Cleveland of Oregon; Daniel Cleveland and wife Anita of Rock Springs, Wyoming; Bobby Cleveland and wife Leslie of Farson, Wyoming; one sister, Famie Whitner of Washington; and several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Charles Sample Jr.; maternal grandmother, Lillian Fox.
Cremation will take place; there will be no services at his request.
