Marion Sonja Churich Lukich Oneida Guerra, 83, passed away on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at her home in Green River, Wyoming. She was a longtime resident of Green River and a former resident of Bingham, Utah.

She was born April 27, 1938 in Bingham Canyon, Utah; the daughter of Rada Lukich and Sophie Churich.

Mrs. Guerra attended schools in Utah.

She married Henry Rupert Oneida on October 18, 1955 in Bingham Canyon, Utah and had six wonderful children together. They were later divorced.

She married Eleuterio Guerra-Decelis on May 28, 1977 in Sandy, Utah and together had one daughter, Alicia Bernadette Guerra. Their marriage was later blessed at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Green River, Wyoming in 1990. Eleuterio preceded her in death on April 4, 2017.

Marion was employed by Jordan Utah School District for twenty years and at the time of her retirement in 1979 she managed the school luncheon program.

She enjoyed raising her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include her three sons, Jeff Oneida of Green River, Wyoming; Curtis Oneida and wife Vicki of Midvale, Utah; Marion Paul Oneida and wife Cindy of Twin Falls, Idaho; Son-in-law Brad Pierce; three daughters-in-law, Shauna Smith of Midvale, Utah; Bertha Davis of West Valley City, Utah; Karen Cantrell of Elko, Nevada; two brothers, Ray Lukich of San Bernadino, California; Michael Lukich of Sandy, Utah; four sisters, Sylvia Leonelli and husband Tony of Tooele, Utah; Margie Flippo and husband Jim of Tooele, Utah; Lori Lukich of Price, Utah; Sally Edwards and husband Richard of California; Special friend, Jeremy Maestas of Arkansas, twelve grandchildren, including Levi Oneida and wife Dilma of Green River, Wyoming; several great-grandchildren, cousins as well as nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sons, Owen Oneida, Henry Michael Oneida, two daughters Sophie Denise Oneida Pierce, Alicia Bernadette Guerra and one granddaughter Lindsay Marie Oneida and one sister Olivia Ruiz.

Following Cremation, a Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, July 1, 2021 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 900 Hitching Post Drive, Green River, Wyoming. A Vigil Service with Rosary will be recited at 6:00 P.M. Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at the church. Inurnment will be in Riverview Cemetery Columbarium.
