Norma Jean Schultz, 88 passed away at The Medical Center of Aurora in Aurora, Colorado on February 26, 2019.
She was born on March 29, 1930 in Rock Springs, Wyoming, the daughter of Cecelia (Sabo) and Ernest Jelosek.
Mrs. Schultz attended schools in Rock Springs and graduated from Rock Springs High School in 1948.
She married James Theodore Schultz in Rock Springs at the Saints Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church on June 20, 1953 and he preceded her in death September 19, 2018.
She was a member of the Roman Catholic Church.
Her interests included playing Scrabble, working Crossword Puzzles, and she was an avid sports fan. She enjoyed bowling off and on her entire life. She enjoyed her final stint of league bowling in her late 70s on a team with her daughter, Jean.
Survivors include three sons, Mark Schultz (Libby) of Broomfield, Colorado, Carl Schultz of Aurora, Colorado and Paul Schultz (Jill) of Parker, Colorado; four daughters, Jean Olson (Norval) of Golden, Colorado, Anne Klugman (Ed) of Overland Park, Kansas, Lynn Schultz of Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin and Gail Phillips (Del)of Eufaula, Oklahoma; ten grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; and three great-granddaughters.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one sister Helen.
Graveside services and interment will be conducted at 10:30 A.M. Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at the Rock Springs Municipal Cemetery.
