A District Court bond of $100,000 has been set on a Rock Springs man arrested on February 11.

On September 12 of last year, Randall Jerome Tummel, 49, appeared in District Court for arraignment, charged with Blackmail, Sexual Assault in the Second Degree, and Stalking. On January 17, 2017, he pled guilty to Blackmail and his bond was continued pending a pre-sentence investigation.

In February Tummel was accused of violating the terms of his bond by leaving the jurisdiction and a warrant was issued for his arrest.

According to Sweetwater County Sheriff Mike Lowell, Deputy Sheriff Marie Mammano arrested Tummel in Rock Springs on Saturday.

As of press time, he remains in custody at the Sweetwater County Detention Center.
