The City of Rock Springs would like to remind all citizens that disposal of branches, grass clippings, weeds, trash and other debris in Bitter Creek, Killpecker Creek, Deadhorse Creek, any drainage rights-of-ways, ditches, or any other means to convey drainage is illegal.

This debris can cause blockages of these creeks, drainages and associated drainage pipes that may cause flooding of adjacent property.

Person or persons may be fined up to $750.00 for the unlawful deposit of waste materials if found guilty of this illegal dumping. Please dispose of items through regulatory trash pickup services or at the local landfill.
