SWEETWATER COUNTY — Public Health continues to offer COVID-19 vaccinations. On February 15, 2022, the FDA’s Vaccines and Related Biological Products Advisory Committee will meet to discuss a request to amend Pfizer’s Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) for the administration of their COVID-19 vaccine to children 6 months through 4 years of age. If approved the ACIP will schedule a meeting to review and make their recommendations to the CDC. Once that is complete, the CDC will make a final determination and we will send an update on that decision.
