The third film in the Broadway Theater’s Foreign Film February series will be a German Film titled “Phoenix”. Â The story is set in Germany in the aftermath of World War II and around a Jewish survivor of the Auschwitz concentration camp who decided to go back to her husband who resides in Berlin. do to her reconstructed face, caused by a bullet wound, her husband does not recognize her.
The movie was released in Germany in 2014 and in the United States in 2015 receiving critic acclaim.
Showtime at the Broadway theater is 7:00 pm Wednesday. Â Tickets are $5.00 and available at the Rock Springs URA at 603 South Main and the Rock Springs Chamber at 1897 Dewar Drive.
