Game and Fish to Host Public Meeting on Big Game and Trophy Damage Claims

CHEYENNE – The Wyoming Game and Fish Department is holding a public meeting and has opened a comment period to gather input about gray wolves being added to the damage claim regulation. The new regulation would be called: Governing Big or Trophy Game Animal or Game Bird or Gray Wolf Damage Claims. The meeting is Tuesday, July 24 at 6 p.m. in Casper at the Casper Regional Game and Fish office, 3030 Energy Lane.

Written comments shall be accepted through 5 p.m. August 20 by mailing:

Comments can also be submitted online. Copies of the proposed regulation are available on the Game and Fish website and at the address above in accordance with Chapter 1 Regulation Governing Access to Public Records.

Written comments shall be presented to the Game and Fish Commission prior to the public hearing at their September 18-19 meeting at the Whiskey Mountain Conservation Camp near Dubois.
