International Day Committee To Help Fund Bunning Park Improvement

In a press release sent to Wyo4News, the International Day committee has announced that it has elected to fund, in part, electrical access improvements in Bunning Park, in Downtown Rock Springs.

Using funds from previous International Day celebrations, the volunteer committee has elected to reinvest $26,486.06 into the community and the downtown Rock Springs venue.

The release stated, “In conjunction with the City of Rock Springs, the not-for-profit International Day organization seeks to provide enhanced electrical capacity and access for their event as well for the various groups and events who utilize this community space throughout the year”.

The City of Rock Springs Parks Department broke ground on the project July 3rd with work scheduled to be completed by July 7th.
