January 30, 2022 – Local area teams competed Friday and Saturday in the Ron Thon Memorial Tournament in Riverton. In total, 39 Wyoming high school teams competed in the event with head-to-head individual competitions taking place no matter the school size.
Casper Natrona won the team title with 157 points. Douglas (144 points) and Sheridan (137 points) were second and third. Green River was the top area team finishing in eighth place with 121.5 points. Other area team scores were Lyman 104.5 (9th), Rock Springs 65 (15th), and Mountain View 43 (21st).

106 pounds: 1. Kazzen Siler (Lyman), 5. Spencer Wright (Green River)
120 pounds: 3. Broc Fletcher (Rock Springs), 5. Kale Knezovich (Green River)
126 pounds: 1. Sefton Douglass (Lyman)
132 pounds: 1. Thomas Dalton (Green River)
138 pounds: 5. Connor Todd (Green River)
160 pounds: 1. Morgan Hatch (Lyman)
170 pounds: 3. Chevy Fackrell (Lyman)
