Sweetwater County graduating high school seniors can start applying for the Sweetwater County Commissioners Scholarship program. The Broad of County Commissioners will choose three students in the county to receive a $1,000 scholarship to the University of Wyoming or any other accredited Wyoming Institution.
The scholarships will be awarded during the May 7, 2024, commissioner’s meeting.
Applications and information are on the Sweetwater County website under the Board of County Commissioners forms tab. The application deadline is April 23. Â
In 2023, scholarship recipients were Mia Spicer of Rock Springs High School, Landyn Story of Black Butte High School, and Kaylee Nelson of Green River High School.
