(December 28, 2020) — With Christmas over and decorations starting to be taken down, the City of Rock Springs reminds you to recycle your live Christmas trees.

If you place your Christmas tree curbside in Rock Springs, the tree will go to the landfill. But by dropping off your tree at 200 Community Park Drive, your tree will become recycled mulch to be used within the City’s parks and greenways.
Trees can be dropped off from now until Jan. 31 at no cost. Flocked Christmas trees and those with decorations and lights still attached cannot be accepted.
