The Rock Springs City Council held their regularly scheduled meeting on Tuesday night in Rock Springs. The major topic of discussion was the city deciding to withdraw their city funds from Bank of the West.

This decision comes on the heels of Bank of the West deciding to no longer do business with energy producing companies who the bank feels are hurting the environment. All council members along with Mayor Demshar voted in favor of withdrawing the city’s funds from Bank of the West.

In the Green River City Council Meeting last night City Clerk Chris Meats notified the public the city does not currently do business with Bank of the West.
