Tigers Open Football Season Tonight Against Defending State Champs

The high school football season gets underway tonight in Wyoming.  The state’s 4A teams will all begin their regular season play.

Locally, the Rock Springs Tigers will open the season with a home game against the three-time 4A State Champion Sheridan Broncs.  Kickoff is scheduled for 6:00 p.m.  The game will be broadcast on WyoRadio’s 106.7 FM KMRZ and streamed at 106KMRZ.com.

The 3A Green River Wolves will host 2A Mountain View at 7:00 p.m. tonight in a pre-season scrimmage at Wolves Stadium.  Lyman travels to Rawlins, Cokeville will be at Kemmerer and on Saturday Farson-Eden will host the Evanston JV.  All these games are either scrimmages or exhibitions and do not count toward season record.
