The Southern Wyoming Senior and Volunteer Program (RSVP) in Cheyenne is looking for volunteers to learn how to facilitate the Better Health = Better You; Chronic Disease Self-Management workshop series.

The workshop series was developed by Stanford University’s, School of Medicine. The program is a free six week-workshop for people with chronic diseases and for caregivers, family members and friends. It is taught by two trained leaders.

If you would like to help others learn how to better manage their chronic disease symptoms like pain, stress, fatigue, frustration and more join us for our upcoming four day leader training in Rock Springs April 24th through April 27th at the Young at Heart Senior Center from 9- 4:30 p.m.

Workshop leaders receive a small stipend and mileage each time they facilitate a workshop.

Interested volunteers should call Amy Giglevitch at (307) 635-2435 ext. 11 or by email at [email protected].
