Christopher Brent Heath

Christopher Brent Heath passed away on October 2, 2021 at 7:02 AM at the University of Utah Hospital after a 2 week long battle with COVID-19. He passed peacefully surrounded by his wife, mother, and father. He was a healthy 33-year-old with a full life to live.  

He was an honest, hardworking husband, father, son, sibling, and nurse.  

Chris was born to Bryan and Karlene Heath in Murray, UT on July 1, 1988. After graduating from High School, he served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Salt Lake City, UT.  

He married his loving wife, Kristin Heath, in 2012 and they have four children together Carter, Kiana, Kailani, and Collin. They resided in Meridian, Idaho, and recently moved to Rock Springs, WY. 

After Chris graduated from Northwest Nazarene University with a Bachelor’s of Nursing he served some of our most vulnerable population at the Ada County Jail. He contracted COVID while helping others as a Home Health Nurse. Chris never hesitated to work on the front lines. He took his responsibility to care for others very seriously and he gave his life in the service of others. 

Chris was a man of service. He lovingly served his wife and kids every day by cooking, cleaning, organizing, helping to homeschool. He would do anything for his family. He loved shooting guns, camping, and exploring the outdoors. He was a true Patriot with a passion for freedom. 

Chris is survived by his wife, Kristin Heath; children, Carter Heath, Kiana Heath, Kailani Heath Collin Heath; parents Bryan and Karlene Heath; siblings Nick Heath, Jason Heath, Derek Heath, JoAnna Sommer, Jessica Blackburn, and Jared Heath. 

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, October 9, 2021 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 2055 Edgar Street Rock Springs, WY. It will also be the funeral of his mother-in-law Sue Lewis.
