While no Wyoming Cowboy football player was chosen in this year’s seven rounds of the NFL Draft, six former Pokes will get a shot at NFL careers.

Laramie, Wyoming, native Frank Crum signed an Undrafted Free Agent Agreement with the Denver Broncos. This season, Crum was named First Team All-Mountain West Conference selection. He played in this year’s Hula Bowl earlier this year and participated in the NFL Combine. Crum started 49 of his 56 games at Wyoming.

Other former Cowboy free agent signings were receiver Ayir Asante signing with the New York Giants, linebacker Easton Gibbs with the Seattle Seahawks, and tight end Treyton Welch with the Cleveland Browns.

Former Pokes quarterback Andrew Peasley earned a mini-camp invite from the New York Jets.
