The Green River Knights American Legion baseball team lost their first game of the State A American Legion State Tournament last night losing 15-1 to Cody. The game was played in Torrington.

With the loss, the Knights will play a loser out game today at 1:00 p.m. against the Cheyenne Hawks. If Green River wins today they will advance to the state championship game to be played on Sunday. Once again the opponent with be Cody, who they will have to defeat twice.

The winner of the State A American Legion State Tournament will advance to the Northwest Regional Tournament in Lewiston, Idaho.
