Here is what we are celebrating today:
“Clean Out Your Refrigerator Day” – It is estimated that in the U.S. alone, consumers throw away 27 million tons of food each year. Roughly 40% of Americans hate eating leftovers.
“I Love to Write Day” – Started in 2002, the day encourages people to write poems, short stories, a love letter, or be bold and start a novel. Text messaging does not count.
“Bundt Pan Day” – Created in the 1950’s in Minnesota, the cake pan got its name from the German word “bund” which means a gathering of people.
