October 29, 2021 — Every day has something to celebrate!

Here is what we are celebrating today:

“Frankenstein Day” – It’s actually Mary Shelly’s birthday, the author of the 1818 novel “Frankenstein.”  The first Frankenstein movie was made in 1931 starring Boris Karloff as the monster.

“International Bandana Day” – It is a day to honor and support young people fighting cancer.

“Internet Day” – Today we celebrate, or curse, the first transmission on the internet. The first transmission was nothing more than the letters L and O and it happened on this date in 1969.

“Hermit Day” – You celebrate the day by taking some alone time in a quiet place, like the storage closet at work.
