David Michael Fullmer

David Michael Fullmer, 77, passed away on Monday, October 11, 2021 at his home surrounded by his family in Rock Springs, Wyoming.  He died following a courageous battle with cancer.  He was a resident of Rock Springs for the past 48 years and a former resident of Salt Lake City, Utah, and Seattle, Washington.

He was born on May 9, 1944 in Salt Lake City, Utah; the son of David Emerson Fullmer and Elda Parkin.

Mr. Fullmer attended schools in Salt Lake City, Utah, and Spokane, Washington.  He was a 1963 graduate of Lewis & Clark High School in Spokane, Washington. He attended BYU in Provo, Utah.

He was the owner and operator of Fullmer Construction/Fullmer Trucking LLC for the past 45 years. In his younger years, he owned Classic Limousine Service.

Mr. Fullmer loved spending time with family, getting in his truck to travel for work. In his younger years, he enjoyed going to rendezvous, racing cars, hunting. Later in life, he loved traveling with his family, being an avid fisherman, camping, and a seasoned traveler.

Survivors include his life companion, Candice Arnold of Rock Springs, Wyoming; two sons, Aaron Fullmer and wife Shoni of Rock Springs, Wyoming of Rock Springs, Wyoming; David Fullmer and wife Wenona of Farmington, New Mexico; two daughters; Jennifer Fullmer of Albuquerque, New Mexico; Mandy Sexton and husband Ted of Farmington, New Mexico; one bonus daughter, Lori Shuley and husband Mike of Grantsville, Utah; one brother, Steven Fullmer and wife Mary of Salt Lake City, Utah; two sisters, Connie Maughan of Kaysville, Utah and Cindy Cordiary of Murray, Utah; 19 grandchildren; expecting one great-grandchild soon; as well as several cousins, nieces, and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents David Emerson Fullmer and wife Elda and one daughter, Robyn.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Monday, October 25, 2021 at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1109 Tulip Drive, Rock Springs, Wyoming.  Friends may call from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at the Church. Interment will be in the Rest Haven Memorial Gardens.
