Cowboys look to go 3-0 today with home game vs. Ball State

September 18, 2021 — Today, the Wyoming Cowboys return to War Memorial Stadium looking to continue their early-season winning ways. The Cowboys will host Ball State of the Mid-American Conference (MAC). Today’s game marks the second straight week the Pokes will face a MAC team. Last Saturday, Wyoming won on the road at Northern Illinois, 50-43, scoring the winning touchdown with 1:35 left in the contest.

beginning at 12:30 p.m. with the kickoff at 2 p.m.

Ball State enters today’s game at 1-1 on the season. The Cardinals won their opening game, 31-21, over Western Illinois before losing 44-13 at Penn State last Saturday.

The game will be a matchup of the most recent champions of the Arizona Bowl. Last year Ball State defeated San Jose State 34-13 in Tucson, with the Cowboys winning the same bowl in 2019, 38-17 over Georgia State.
