September 19, 2021 — After a rough start to the Wichita State Shocker Classic on Friday, the Wyoming Cowgirl volleyball team responded with a pair of solid four-set wins Saturday to close the tournament with a 2-1 record.
On Friday, Wyoming lost to #17 ranked Creighton 25-19, 25-10, and 25-19. On Saturday, the Pokes came back to defeated host Wichita State and 25-14, 25-14, 20-25, 25-16 and then closed things out with a four-set win over South Dakota 22-25, 25-23, 25-21 and 25-19.
Wyoming, 7-5 on the year, will now turn their attention to Mountain West Conference play when they host Utah State, 8-4, on Thursday.
